Employee Spotlight: Liz Miles

Meet Liz Miles, one of the talented National Account Managers here at image.works! A ball of energy with a commitment to client service, she’s a huge asset to our team. Liz is Wisconsin born and bred, growing up in Black Earth, WI, before attending Edgewood College in Madison. She stuck around after graduation, and we’re glad she did! When she’s not at work, Liz spends time with her husband, Tyler, and their two pit bulls, Daisy and Skyla. She loves being active, whether that’s hitting the gym, hiking, kayaking or “anything outdoors—including drinks on a patio Laughing.”

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I love that I get to watch our clients have successful campaigns. Seeing results come to life for them is a great reward. I also love to share their excitement about a beautiful piece we create for them!

What brought you to image.works?

I worked at a credit union for about 4 years before coming to image.works. That job was actually where I met Mark, our CEO!

How has image.works influenced you or helped you grow?

In this position you have to work as a team. You need to rely on your copywriters, designers and project managers to help make sure things are complete and correct. Developing that trust with your team is so important for the best outcome on projects for our clients.

Favorite Wisconsin sports team?

Actually, I’m truly an Ohio girl! My dad and husband are from Ohio, so I grew up a fan and continue to be one to this day! Go Browns!

What is the most “Wisconsin” thing about you?

I say “ope” way too often and when I travel, everyone instantly knows I’m from Wisconsin because of my accent.

If you could learn a new skill, what would it be?

American Sign Language. I’m slowly starting to learn this new skill already.

Words to live by?

Life needs balance. Have fun, but know your responsibilities. Eat well, but don’t say no to every sweet treat. Work out, but enjoy relaxing days off, too.

Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?

It’s a tie between Alaska and Indonesia. Both were absolutely incredible trips. Alaska is beautiful and I love the snow, but Indonesia has amazing culture.

What does leadership mean to you?

Being dependable, understanding and a role model. Leaders do not need to know all the answers, but they need to be supportive of their teams, show by example, and be calm in situations to handle problems.

Describe yourself in three words.

Energetic, outgoing and ambitious.
