Employee Spotlight: Anne Misky

In honor of last week's Administrative Professionals’ Day, we are highlighting Anne Misky – the eyes, ears and heart of our company! As image.works’ beloved office manager, Anne keeps this business up and running. With almost a dozen years of loyalty, she’s dedicated over 22,000 hours to image.works, our clients and our coworkers. Having NEVER called in sick during her time with us, Anne has proven she more than deserves our thanks and appreciation.

Describe what you do on a day-to-day basis.
I assist in organizing and managing samples for clients and take care of accounting, front desk operations, printing reports for the sales team and assisting with various Salesforce data projects. I’m also part of a team that helps organize outings and activities for team building.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
The atmosphere here at image.works is great. The relationships we have with each other and with our clients is something that I value on a daily basis.

How has image.works influenced you?
I think, in a way, it has helped me become more independent and structured. I have a lot of different things that I’m in charge of; I make sure they get done in a timely manner and get to the right people. It takes some prioritizing, and I think that has helped me a lot in everyday life as well.

What are some of your hobbies outside of the office?
Watching sports and movies, golfing, basketball, spending time with family and friends, drawing, painting, campfires, and listening to music.

Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
Going to Northern Wisconsin for a week with my family every summer when we were growing up was always a highlight. But I think the most special trip I’ve been on was a cruise with my whole family shortly after my mom passed away. It was a time for all of us to honor and celebrate her life.

What do you think is the most admirable characteristic a person can or should have?
I have to say two: trust and honesty. They both are so powerful and say a lot about someone.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve had to overcome in your life?
Losing my mom. It changed me. If I find myself in a position of uncertainty or something is on my mind that I’m not sure what to do about, I ask myself what she would do, and that helps. She was one of a kind.

How do you define success?
Putting your heart and soul into what you’re doing with a positive attitude. Whether it’s at work, being part of a sports team, or something you’re doing on your own. When you do it with a certain goal in mind, you can achieve anything with the right attitude.
